Shelley Watson is Vice President of Southern Arizona Leadership Council (SALC). She began her career at the American Heart Association where she was Executive Director of the Southern Arizona region, and Vice President for Research and Community Programs for the Arizona affiliate. Prior to joining SALC, Watson was COO for a national fundraising consulting firm, where she partnered with community leaders and led capital campaigns that raised more than $750 million for nonprofits, from Alaska to Maine. Shelley currently serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations including Sister Jose Women’s Center and Expect More Arizona and is a past board president of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona. She was raised in Tucson and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Arizona State University.
